Woyzeck

Woyzeck

The play “Woyzeck” will be staged on Thursday at 7.30 p.m. as part of the MetroPlus Theatre Fest. The story of a poor German soldier, driven to madness by brutal military discipline, inspired George Buchner to write the play. Discover the tragedy all over again, in a stripped down version, performed by Sadari Movement Laboratory (Korea), where objects and bodies combine to create a dynamic physical and visual language. The production was a sell-out at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, after which it has been invited to tour the world. It’s a fresh interpretation of a familiar tale, surprising and deeply moving.
