Catch the latest on The Hindu MetroPlus Theatre Fest

A whole lot of people come together to make The Hindu MetroPlus Theatre Fest happen year after year — directors and actors, organisers, marketing and advertising people, writers and editorial staff, and most importantly, the audience.

Now, you have a chance to get better acquainted with some of them on our first-ever MetroPlus Theatre Fest blog. Hear from theatre actors and directors who've been part of the fest for years; hear the stories of the people who work behind-the-scenes to put it all together; and hear what members of the audience over the years — theatre regulars and newbies alike — have to say about their experiences with the fest.

In the process, you'll get to know the fest better — how it all got started and what the highlights of the past years were — and connect with the people who've been part of it — what they like about it and what they don't, what they hope stays the same and what they hope changes. And of course, you get to tell us about your memories of the fest and thoughts on it through comments and discussions on the posts.

Once the fest gets underway (August 6-15), you'll also have access to exclusive photographs, brief interviews with this year's performers and a whole lot more citizen reviews (all those reviews we couldn't accommodate in the pages of the MetroPlus will be carried on the blog).

So drop by the MetroPlus Theatre Fest blog, and get connected in time for the sixth edition of the fest.
