The Gokulastami Sri Jayanti festival at Arulmigu Sridevi Sri Bhoomineeladevi samedha Sri Varadaraja Swamy temple, Anandathandavapuram, is being celebrated from August 14. V. Swaminthan, vice-president of the committee, special programmes during the festival, which concludes on August 23, includes special tirumanjanam, pushpa alankaram, unchavriti on Sunday morning, Ashtapad bhajans, Sri Krishna Janana utsavam, dolotsavam besides the Rukmini Kalyana utsava bhajan, from August 21 to 23, to be presented by Kumbakonam Sri Vaidyanatha Bhagavatar along with Anandathandavapuram A.
