After a ‘serious' season concert, Ghatam S. Karthick has a unique way to relax. He watches any Telugu mythological movie, especially an N.T. Ramarao-Ghantasala starrer. He particularly likes battle field sequences in movies. Some favourites are ‘Daana Veera Shura Karna', ‘Maya Bazaar' and ‘Sree Krishnarjuna Yuddham' He also listens to peppy songs from M.G. Ramachandran and Sivaji Ganesan films to lighten his mood including classics such as ‘Unnai Arindal', ‘Ullattil nalla ullam' and ‘Chittiram pesudadi’. Karthick says he generally prefers mythological movies for their music.
