The audio of Sri Sivaselvanayakiamman Movies' “Kandaen” was released recently. This is the first audio release from Gautham Vasudev Menon's audio firm Photo Kathaas. The music is by Vijay Ebenezer, who was working with Harris Jayaraj. The film is directed by A.C. Mugil, who was the co-director to Prabhu Deva in “Villu” and “Pokkiri”. Produced by TCS, the film has seven peppy songs.
‘Enge En Idhayam' is a good number sung by Dr. Burn, Krish and Prashanthini, and written by Thamarai. Singer Krish has written the catchy ‘Oru Paarvai', which he has also sung, along with Gurupriya, and the pleasant ‘Narmada', sung by Haricharan, Suchitra Karthik Kumar and Sheeba. ‘Ninaivugal', written by Ravindran and sung by Devan Ekambaram, is impressive.
In Thamarai's lyrics, ‘Ah Ha' is a beautiful piece, sung by Krish and Ujjayini. In lyricist Vaali's words, ‘Yavarukum Thalaivan', sung by Chinmayi and Senthil Dass is a wonderful number.
‘Casanova', written by Ravindran and sung by Sheeba, Rahul Nambiar and Samcy, is an interesting piece.
Naanum En Kaadhalum
Unipay2U Production recently released the audio of its film “Naanum En Kaadhalum”, produced by Jayaprakash P. Written and directed by SAC. Ramki, the film's cast includes Anand, Swetha, Kavitha, Manobala and Sukumar. The music is scored by Mariyamanohar. The director says the the film revolves around the route people take to success — is it astrology, God or hard work?
There are five songs in the album, and the best is the folk number ‘Orathula Orathula' written by Viveka and sung by Jayamorthi and Shoba Chandrasekar. The director has penned the melodious ‘Poo Ondru Modhi', sung by Karthik and Chinmayi, and ‘Oru Vaarthai' sung by Abilash and Madhumitha. ‘America Londanapol', written by Muthu Vijayan and sung by Rahul Nambiyar and Ramya impresses. ‘Unna Naanum Namba Maataen', written by Lalitha Anandh and sung by Anuradha Sriram and Manasa, is a pleasant piece.
Seivathu Sariye
The audio of Dream Cinemas' “Seivathu Sariye” was released recently. Produced by M. Balamurugan and directed by D. Karthik, the film stars Arjun, Neelam, Gibran, Suganthi, Velu and Babu. The story is said to be based on real-life incidents that revolve around love, friendship and betrayal.
The music is scored by T.S. Murali Subramanian and S. Sivaprakasam. The album has six songs.
Four songs are written by Priyan. ‘Iruvizhi' sung by Naveen Madav is a lovely number.
The charming ‘Muthal Kadhal' is sung by Roshan. Sung by Ramya and Velu, ‘Nenchukootukkulle' is a delightful piece. In the voices of Krishnamoorthy, Jagan Iyya, and Vinaitha Sivakumar comes the enjoyable number ‘Punnagai Sindhi'. Written and sung by Yuvi Jaakki, the song ‘Vanmam' is a pleasing one. Sivaprakasam has penned ‘Anjal Nee', sung well by Haricharan Shesh.
