India’s original superstar Rajesh Khanna’s films were a celebration of music and love. Songs more often than not dominated the script, catapulting the actor to instant stardom. Well-known playback singer Srinivas presents a Rajesh Khanna evening, where he teams with the young and popular voice of many hits Naresh Iyer as well as talented young singers Madhushree and Saptaparna Chakraborty to travel back in time and recreate the Rajesh aura that once drove fans wild. The singers will be accompanied by a 16-member orchestra.

The evening will present romantic numbers such as ‘Kora kagaz tha yeh man mera’, ‘Roop tera mastaana’, ‘O mere dil ke chaine…’, which can still make your heart skip a beat while the high-on-emotion ‘Chingaari’, ‘Kuch toh log kahenge’ and ‘Zindagi ka safar’ leave you misty-eyed. Remembering Rajesh promises to pay a nostalgic tribute to the star through some his best-known solos and duets. It’s time for another Shaam Mastaani…
