The 11th Arunagirinathar festival, held under the auspices of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Coimbatore Kendra, was celebrated with solemnity.

The opening prayer song by Mahadarshani and Tiruppugazh by Shivanjali Jayalakshmi set the tone for the divine ambience.

‘Sri Marabin Mainthan’, Muthaiah's insightful and scholarly discourse on how the yoga of God realisation, adumbrated that Thiruppugazh, would help humanity in leading a noble and virtuous life.

It was followed by a presentation of select songs from Thiruppugazh by 25 children trained by Bhagavath Chaitanya of Kotagiri.

A virutham preceding the ‘Arupadai Veedu' by Amritha Sekhar was rendered with aesthetic finesse.

The ‘Tiruppugazh Isai Vazhipadu' rendered by Vaidyanathan, Anandhi Krishnan, Mohana Krishnan, Jayasri Ramasundaram and Sundari Hariharan was spell-binding. Hariharan proposed the vote of thanks.
