A show by Kolkata-based music troupe Dhwani on December 15 in the city

Listen to internationally acclaimed music troupe Dhwani from Kolkata, on December 15, 7.30 p.m. at the Sir Mutha Venkatasubba Rao Concert Hall, Lady Andal School, Harrington Road, Chetpet. Titled ‘Mahro Marwad’, the show is presented by the RCC Platinum Trust, the social service arm of RCC Platinum, an association of Rajasthani youth from various walks of life.

“Mahro Marwad” showcases the amazing flavour of Rajasthani folk music. This show is a collaboration of Dhwani with the Langa folk musicians from Rajasthan. Dhwani is accompanied by three Langa musicians, including the well-known singer Bundu Khan, folk dancers, who use musical instruments, voice and dance, to create a dramatic impact. This spectacle is enhanced by spectacular lighting and visual effects.

RCC Platinum has been involved in a variety of social causes such collecting new and old clothes and blankets and donating them to the underprivileged. It has donated over 15,000 blankets and sleeping kits over the last few years and has set itself a target of donating 25,000 blankets and sleeping kits this year. RCC Platinum will launch its Clean Drinking water project on December 15. The project aims at installing and maintaining RO water systems in public places such as schools, hospitals and orphanages.
