Banyan Tree Events presents the All India Sufi and Mystic Music Festival 2009-2010, which will be held on November 29. The venue is Jaymahala Palace Hotel, 6.30 p.m. The fest, titled Ruhaniyat, is being organised for the fourth consecutive year.
Conceived by Mahesh Babu, Director, Banyan Tree Events, Ruhaniyat has become a huge platform for Indian musicians to perform in various international festivals worldwide.The event is supported by TATA ELXSI Ltd.
This year the fest will feature Arabic Sufiana Mausiqui (Naglaa and Mona Fathy with Mohamad), mystic songs (Farghaly and Group from Egypt), Baul songs (Parvathy Baul from West Bengal), Kabirpanthis Nirguni songs (Prahlad Tipaniya and Group from Madhya Pradesh) and Sufi Kalam (Sawan Khan and group from Rajasthan) to name a few.
