The Tamil Isai Sangam held its first performances at the St. Mary's Co-Cathedral Parish Hall, on Armenian Street. The Music Academy, has in its time held its festivals at the rear of the Ripon Buildings, Mani Iyer Hall, at the Senate House, the old Woodlands Hotel, gardens of bungalows on General Patters Road, the R.R. Sabha and the P.S. High School Grounds.
