Brahmasri T.S. Balakrishna Sastrigal’s 93rd birth anniversary is to be celebrated on Sunday, 26 August, 2012, at 3.30 p.m. at Tatvaloka Hall, Eldams Road, Teynampet.
Upanyasa Chakravarti Srivatsa S. Jayarama Sharma, brother-in-law, and a close follower of Balakrishna Sastrigal (TSB) will give a discourse on Krishna Leela .
A rare video of TSB's performance on ‘Sathguru Thyagara Keerthanai Vilakkam’ — portrayal of a few significant kritis in TSB's own inimitable style; and an audio CD of his rendition of ‘ Seetha Rama Kalyanam ’ recorded in USA, 1984, will be released.
