The Bharatiya Temple at Troy, Michigan, U.S, celebrated the 607th Annamacharya jayanthi early this month. Around 120 children and 30 musicians participated in this event and sang 65 keerthanas including ‘Brahmamokate’, ‘Entha Matramunevvaru Thalachina’, ‘Narayanathe Namo’ and ‘Bhavamulona Bahyamunandu’. Indiresa Maktal and Venkatesh provided mridangam support while Jay Shankar Balan's students played the violin.
