Bach, Mozart, Beethoven and Vivaldi all promise to be there, and several more. The Madras Chamber Orchestra, with renowned conductor Bernard Wacheux, will perform at the Museum Theatre, Egmore on October 30, 7 p.m.

Bernard, a violinist who has played with several orchestras in Europe and other countries, is on a mission to popularise western classical music in India.

And to do that, he has brought together Indian and western musicians of the city to form its first string orchestra. They will be performing under one banner for the first time.

Free passes to the concert are available at Gatsby on Khader Nawaz Khan Road and Neelangarai, and The Raymond Shop in Nungambakkam.
