Bipasha Basu is loving the title of ‘horror queen.’ She says she will try her best to keep up to the expectation of the title and is excited that in her forthcoming movie Alone , she plays the ghost and the victim at the same time.

An official remake of a Thai film, Alone sees Bipasha in a new avatar where she plays a conjoined twin. But the actor best describes the film as a passionate love story where there’s amazing romance. “I have seen the film and I feel very good about it. It has come out so well that I am excited to see the reaction of movie-goers,” says Bipasha. This will be Bipasha’s first film with director Bhushan Patel.

In this movie Bipasha will be seen opposite TV actor Karan Singh Grover. It looks like the chemistry has worked out well with the two.

The trailer of the movie which is a steamy love song titled Katra has already generated a lot of curiosity about the film, and has crossed the 3 million mark on YouTube.

Talking about Alone Bipasha says, “Film centres around conjoined twins Anjana and Sanjana, played by Bipasha. The twins get surgically separated at an early age, and only one of them survives. The dead twin sister comes back to haunt the surviving one. So in a way it’s a strange love triangle. “I look at it like a love story more than a horror film,” says the actress.

Right now the actor’s focus is to meet the expectation of her fans and says she’s feels responsible to make the genre enter the main stream.

Bipasha was last seen in Creature 3D which was India’s first supernatural genre film.

The horror genre has moved from being a B-grade film to the mainstream. “There is a lot to exploit and I would love to be associated with it,” says the actor.

That Bipasha is in a blissful state is evident when one questions on her alleged link up with actor Rana Daggubati, she laugh and says, “after every two years I get linked up with Rana. I happened to be at his birthday party so it set off the rumours once again. I wonder what kind of rumours will emerge when I begin working with Rana for my forthcoming which is scheduled to go on floors by January end next year.”

As of now Bipasha confirms that Rana is a dear friend and would concentrate on Alone .
