After the successful completion of the renovation and samprokshanam of Sri Krishna Temple at Akkaraipatti (Ammayarpatti), where Nitya Seva Kainkaryam is being performed regularly, Sri Japan Narayana Iyengar Charitable & Seva Trust and the devotees of the village now plan to take up work at Sri Rukmini Sathyabhama Samedha Venugopala Swami Temple, Ethirkottai, Sivakasi. It is proposed to complete the task in three stages: temple renovation and development of the surroundings; maha samprokshanam; and setting up of a permanent fund for nitya aradhanai.

The estimated cost of the works is Rs.25 lakhs. The trust plans to spend a sizeable amount, but still contributions are needed. Hence devotees are requested to help the cause. Donations by DD/cheque may be drawn in favour of Sri Japan Narayana Iyengar Charitable & Seva Trust, payable at Sivakasi, and sent to E.N. Krishnamurthy (managing trustee of the Trust),207G, Police Station Rd., Sivakasi – 626 123. (Ph:04562 229798; 94433 20798).
