Apoorva Bose, the young actor who impressed in films like Malarvadi Arts Club, Pranayam and Padmasree Bharat Dr. Saroj Kumar, is now set for her first full-fledged Bharatanatyam recital. “I’ve been learning dance since I was a child. It was like any other kid. Only in the last couple of years have I been serious about dance,” says Apoorva who will perform at the Kerala Fine Arts Hall on December 22 at 6.30 p.m.

Trained by Dr. Venugopal and Beena Venugopal, Apoorva hopes to balance her studies, films and dance. She will be seen in Paisa Paisa, directed by Prasanth Murali, along with Indrajit, Mamta Mohandas and Aju Varghese. “The film is scheduled to be released in March. Talks are on for a couple of other projects. By January or February I’ll be acting in another new film,” she says.
