The exam season is in full swing and most of the discussions are centred around students asking them to prepare well and score good marks.
Here is a song to raise the morale of the students and motivate them to face exams with confidence.
‘All the Best- The Exam Song', launched on March 17, is made by S16 Productions, an advertising agency, of the ‘Coimbatoreaa.. Kokkaaa' fame. The song, produced by Kalaivani College of Technology, wishes all the best to students who are appearing for exams.
The song asks the students to study well and not to feel over-stressed. It asks them not to lose hope even when there is failure. Parents are warned against torturing students to score good marks and are asked to leave them to study according to their own convenience.
The countdown for exams with references on group study, rigorous preparation and getting ready for exams on the last day are depicted in a lighter vein. It is interlaced with images of child labour and people living on the streets to motivate students to focus on their studies for a bright future.
“Today's children see exam as a battle field. We wanted to motivate and cheer them up while creating awareness among parents,” said R.Vijay Anand, director of the song. The team made the album and then approached the sponsors. “We did not want any interference in our creative freedom,” Mr. Anand added.
The lyric is penned by Zhaa, music is by M. Rajesh, S. Prakash is the editor and cinematography is by R. Santhosh Krishnan. The song is sung by playback singer Mukesh. This is the team's second after ‘Coimbatoreaa.. Kokkaaa', a song on Coimbatore.
The team said that a mix of English and Tamil was used in the lyrics to bring in the colloquial effect and to strike a chord with the young audience.
The song was shot in Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Vidyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Oxford Matriculation Higher Secondary School and Perks Matriculation Higher Secondary School, said Mr. Anand.
