Indian Oil Educational ScholarshipDescription: Students pursuing full-time regular courses in 10+/ITI, Engineering, MBBS and MBA are eligible to apply.

Eligibility: Students between the age of 15 and 30 years and annual family income of Rs 1,00,000 or less.

Application: Online

Prizes & Rewards: Scholarships of Rs 1,000 per month are offered for 10+/ITI students, Rs 3,000 per month for students pursuing professional courses.

Deadline: September 30 and documents should reach them by October 15.

LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship-2014Description: To award scholarships to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker families so as to provide them better opportunities for higher education and thus enhance their employability.

Eligibility: Class X & XII passed students and interested in pursuing vocational courses (ITI), medicine, engineering, diploma and graduation in any discipline. Family income should not exceed 1,00,000 per annum.

Application: Online

Prizes & Rewards: Rs 10,000 every year for the entire duration of the course subject.

National Level Science Talent Search ExaminationDescription: A national-level examination which measures how well a student has understood concepts and gives detailed feedback on the same, to help them improve.

Eligibility: Class II to X. Class XI and XII (PCM/ PCB) students.

Prizes & Rewards: Cash prize of up to Rs 2 lakhs for toppers and tablet PC, memento and medals.
