IISER BS-MS Dual degree Programme 2014Description: To promote high-quality scientific education, research and training, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), GoI, has set up five Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs) at Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune and Thiruvananthapuram.
The BS-MS dual degree programme is a five-year course for bright and motivated science students.
Eligibility: Students who have passed Class XII can apply through Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY), and the JEE advanced or by being State and Central board’s top one percentile students after clearing an aptitude test.

Prizes & Rewards: Students are eligible for either KVPY or INSPIRE scholarship worth Rs 5,000 per month and Rs 20,000 per year for research.
