I am pursuing M.A. (Economics). I would like to know about short-term courses that is offered in the city. How do I pursue research?

First complete the postgraduation in Economics. The Research programme can be pursued at the place where you graduated. You will be able to identify one of your current teachers as a supervisor/guide based on their availability and the area of specialisation that you intend to pursue.

You can attend short-term programmes organised by the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) (www.isibang.ac.in), Economic Analysis Unit (EAU), which is part of the Social Sciences Division.
