'Open bank accounts'

Students of minority communities should open no frill accounts with a nationalised bank to get the scholarship being sanctioned by the Centre, Collector, T. Soundiah, said.The decision aimed at prompt disbursement of the scholarship

Students should open no frill accounts at any branch of a nationalised bank in the vicinity of their educational institution.

He also appealed to the bank officials to extend their cooperation for opening the accounts. Smart Cards should also be issued to the students immediately.
