Workshop
“In India, you have an amazing context to study – everyone cares about doing business in India; you have access to amazing data and you live in amazing times. So as an author, who wants to publish in international journals, the onus is on you to make your reader understand what is happening in your country,” said Elizabeth Rose, Professor of International Business at Aalto University School of Economics, at the AIB India Paper Development Workshop, hosted by the Academy of International Business India Chapter at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.
The two-day workshop, inaugurated by IIMB Dean-Academic Devanath Tirupati, was a precursor to the AIB global conference which will be hosted by IIM Bangalore in June 2015.
Eminent panels of editors, reviewers and mentors addressed researchers and practising scholars in India, striving for international visibility, on how to make their work relevant to the international academic community.
