Business scholarship
The University of Chicago Booth School of Business will offer students from India a new scholarship, supported by a $3 million gift from the Ramakrishnan family. The Guru and Anupama Ramakrishnan Endowed Scholarship Fund will provide tuition support annually to three incoming students from India who are enrolled in Chicago Booth’s Full-Time MBA programme.
Awards will be available to qualified students beginning this fall, when three first-year students will each be awarded $25,000 per year, totalling $50,000 each for the two-year programme.
M.Sc. in Child and Youth Care
Applications are open for M.Sc. in Child and Youth Care Studies by the distance learning mode. Developed within the Centre for Excellence for Looked After Children in Scotland (CELCIS) at the University of Strathclyde, this programme covers globalised childhoods, international policy contexts, the United Nations Conventions on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), bringing up children and research methods.
Students will develop theoretically informed, practice-based understanding of issues related to the social, political and cultural contexts of children and youth.
The programme considers and examines theoretical and policy contexts, child development in the lifespace, management and leadership, intervention methods, critical reflection, relational practice, and research methods.
