March 02, 2011 01:59 am | Updated 01:59 am IST - CHENNAI

“Instincts”, the annual cultural extravaganza of SSN College of Engineering is here again. Scheduled to be held on March 3, 4, and 5, the sixth edition of the event is centered on the theme ‘music'.

Among the highlights this year is a special fusion music performance featuring “Drums” Sivamani and pianist Stephen Devassy.

Renowned playback and Carnatic music singer P. Unnikrishnan will inaugurate the music events on day two of “Instincts”.

The events include a talent hunt for the best voice and a light music group event, which is to be judged by base guitarist Keith Peters. Interesting dance events have also been planned. The fine arts section has planned some different events, such as “Kitchen Chronicles”, to bring out music from just utensils.

Gaming, Tamil literary events, ad zaps and potpourri are among the other events. For details, visit: www.instincts.org.in.
