A senior management team from Sri Balaji Society (SBS) will visit Chennai on March 23 for selection of candidates from Tamil Nadu. SBS conducts a common selection process for students for Balaji Institute of Modern Management (BIMM), Balaji Institute of Telecom & Management (BITM), Balaji Institute of International Business (BIIB) and Balaji Institute of Management & HRD (BIMHRD) in about 26 main cities of India. SBS’s selection process is based not only on scores achieved in CAT/MAT/CMAT/ XAT. Only 30 per cent weightage is given to these scores. Further, the candidate can earn scores for group discussion, personal interview and essay writing. GD is given 40 per cent weightage. Scores earned in personal interview and essay writing are given 30 per cent weightage, each.
SBS has also been ranked seventh in India for return on investment among B-schools by a survey conducted by Outlook recently.
Also, 50 per cent of the seats in SBS are reserved for female candidates. Spot registration is on March 22.
