Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell), IIT Kharagpur, is a student organisation established with the aim of fostering the spirit of entrepreneurship among college students in India.
The cell has successful entrepreneurial organisations in the country with over 25 start-ups incubated within six years its inception. As a part of its activities the E-cell is conducting two flagship competitions namely, Empresario and Envision, and it is open for students all across the globe.
Empresario is their annual Business Plan competition. For the first round of Empresario, participants will be required to fill up a questionnaire asking in brief about their Business idea and submit it in their portal, this questionnaire can be downloaded from the website www.ecell-iitkgp.org/empresario . Deadline for the submission is 30,October 2012.
E-Cell, IIT Kharagpur being based in a technical university also conducts an annual product design competition, Envision. To participate just send us a technical write-up of your product design to envision@ecell-iitkgp.org.
IIT-K’s flagship event — Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES), the largest collegiate entrepreneurial summit in India is conducted every year in January. The final rounds of Empresario and Envision will be held during GES’13.
