Women’s Christian College (WCC) and East West Center for Counselling and Training, are jointly offering a diploma course in Expressive Art Therapy, for both men and women.

Dr. Veena Easwaradoss, head, department of psychology, WCC, says that this unique course is offered at the diploma level for the first time in the State. It is an intensive programme designed for therapists, social workers, counsellors, psychologists, and those working with children. “I am looking forward to teachers also to take part in this course as I feel that they are also the right candidates,” she says.

Expressive Arts Therapy uses storytelling, singing, instrumental music, movement and dance, drama, and visual arts, all together, in an integrated way, to foster human growth and development.
