Following a bumper crop of placements in leading institutes such as IIT Kharagpur, the Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) too has shown that the effects of the recession have not slowed down hiring, with close to 90 per cent of its students having secured jobs. “The average number of offers per company is 3.73, which is very high in today’s scenario. About 90 per cent of students from the final year batch have been placed in 29 companies across industries,” the institute said in a statement.
