Budding talents revealed their passion for science as the three-day regional level science exhibition of schools under the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) began at Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara, on Thursday.

Young representatives from over 30 schools located across the State exhibited their works on the occasion. Students from Classes VI to XI are participating in the event. Science and Mathematics for a Sustainable World is the main theme of the science fair. The sub-themes include community health and environment; landmarks in science and mathematics; information and communication technology; energy resources and conservation; transport; and waste management.

The organisers said 10 best exhibits would be selected for the national round of the CBSE’s science exhibition. The winners of the national round will get an opportunity to participate in the Jawaharlal Nehru National Science, Mathematics and Environmental Exhibition for children organised by NCERT.
