Description: Exchange students for a period of one to four months at the Bachelor’s or Master’s degree level.

Eligibility: Age maximum 30 years and studying in an Indian institution of higher learning.

Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) 2013

Description: Started by National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) (a key functionary of ISRO) with vision to use of Remote Sensing for societal applications through multilevel initiatives, value added data services.

Eligibility: 18 - 28 Years Age. B.E./B.Tech/ME/M.Tech (or eqv) in Water Resources / Hydrology / Soils & Water Conservation/ Hydraulics/ Irrigation/ Agricultural/ Remote Sensing/Civil/ Environmental / Agricultural Engg

Application: By Online and Post. No application fee

Prizes and rewards: Maximum for 3 years. BE/B.Tech/M.Sc.: Rs.16,000 per month for two years then Rs.18,000 per month.

M.Tech/M.Sc.,(Tech): Rs.18,000 per month for two years then Rs.20,000 per month

Deadline: November 30 for online application. December 10 for hard copy sent by post.

Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan Scholarship 2013-14

Description: set up by the Government of India for propagation and promotion of Sanskrit language invites applications for award of merit Scholarship.

Eligibility: B.A., PG, PhD Students with subjects Sanskrit / Pali / Prakrit

Prizes and rewards: Scholarship per year is Rs. 4000/- for B.A./Shastri, Rs. 5000/- for M.A./Acharya, Rs. 20,000/- for Ph.D./Vidyavaridhi.
