An interdisciplinary programme meant for executives in key decision-making roles at the divisional level and above in large established companies, it is being offered for the second time. HBS will host this executive education programme in Mumbai from November 18 to 21.
As the region’s growth slows down and competition for customers and capital increases, the programme will explore numerous ways in which credibility from sound leadership and corporate accountability can be a significant source of competitive advantage.
As with all HBS executive education programmes, the India portfolio will be taught by members of the School’s own full-time faculty using the renowned HBS case method.
Faculty lectures, discussions and case studies will help participants acquire the knowledge and skills needed to meet their corporate responsibilities.
This programme's curriculum is based on leading-edge global research, prevailing codes of business conduct, and the curriculum of Harvard's highly successful Leadership and Corporate Accountability required MBA course.
It incorporates best-practice cases on Indian companies such as crisis management at Taj Hotels during 26/11, and building a globally-trusted brand at Infosys — as well as cautionary cases from Wall Street during the global financial crisis.
The programme is built around highly illustrative regional and global case studies that represent a broad range of issues faced by corporate leaders across businesses, industries, and countries.
It will prepare participants in this changing global society filled with competing claims from multiple stakeholders.
