Revathy, Reema Arora to design for boutique in Thoraipakkam

Samriddhi, a women’s boutique in Thoraipakkam, has entered into a joint venture whereby actor Revathy and Mumbai-based fashion designer Reema Arora will be designing suits for it.

This tie-up marks the third anniversary celebrations of Samriddhi, which is on May 1.

“Ever since I started my career in films, at the age of 17 or 18, I have been designing the costumes for my characters. At Samriddhi, I will be designing dresses made of linen and cotton fabrics. The designs in Samriddhi are exclusive and customised,” said Revathy.

Reema Arora, who runs Taanshique Designer Studio, says she will bring Bollywood designs to Chennai.

As part of the celebrations, the store is offering a discount of 50 per cent on select dresses. The outlet is located at 21, Vinayaga Nagar, Anand Nagar Main Road, Thoraipakkam.

The the store is open from Monday to Saturday. Time: 9.30 a.m. to 9 p.m. On Sundays, it is open from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. For details, contact Saji Vaidyanathan at 9551098933.
