Jaigopal Garodia Charitable Book Bank invites application forms from students to obtain free college books. The forms are available at the Book Bank located on 6, Seventh Street, ‘U' Block, Anna Nagar, Chennai-40. College students may either obtain the forms by post (by sending a self-addressed envelope) or download from the Book Bank's website >www.jgvvbookbank.org .

The JGVVBB had already released the books list, a copy of which is on display at the Book Bank office. The Book Bank has nearly 35,000 books on 600 titles for engineering, commerce, accounts, science, arts, computer science, and management studies.

Book Bank authorities say that they do not ask for any caution deposit or processing fee. The only condition is that students should safely return the books after completing their examinations. The filled-in application form along with the proof of residence and authentication from the college authorities must be submitted in person on working days between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

About 60,000 students across the State from 250 colleges have so far been benefitted from the facilities. The Book Bank also calls the students to return the books taken last year without further delay. For details, call 2620 6261.
