Body building contest held at Palavakkam

Perambur resident M. Venkatesan won the title in Tamil Nadu State Body Building Championship – 2016 held recently at Manuelmony Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Palavakkam. “I practise every day for four hours. I have protein-rich food and fresh juices to keep myself fit,” says Venkatesan, who works as a trainer for Fitness One. Over 200 took part in the event which was hosted by the Tamil Nadu Body Builder Association. It was conducted in different categories — 55kg, 60kg, 65kg, 70kg, 75kg, 80kg, 85kg and above.
