It’s love all the way. And Unforgettable is about the choice between first love and soul mate that we all need to make at some point in our lives. It is the conflict that separates what is electrifying from that which is magical. Shot in just about 49 days entirely in the UAE, the film is slated to be released globally on June 13.
The first Bollywood product to be fully made abroad, it had trained professionals for everything from sync sound recording and DOP to writer, producer, director and editor. Not a typical cross-over film, Unforgettable boasts Indian content and plot, very relatable to us.
Director Arshad Yusuf Pathan, a graduate from a Hollywood film school, says, “Making Unforgettable was a lonely journey for me. It was like swimming against the tide. But what kept me going was the faith, that if I reach the shore, I would have achieved something meaningful for myself and those who trusted me with their talent and money.”
Look out for the music in the film. Music director Sujeet Shetty has worked hard to create a melodious sound that incorporates rhythms from around the world.
The film stars TV heartthrob Iqbal Khan, along with Alka Verma, Hazel Crownee, Kiran Kumar, Shahbaz Khan and Usha Bachani. It also has William Porterfield, Nial O’Brien (Irish cricket wicketkeeper-captain) and Sachin Khurana (Mr. India) in friendly appearances.
