Y.Gee. Mahendra’s annual show in memory of Sivaji Ganesan will be held on January 3, 6.30 p.m., at Kamarajar Arangam, Teynampet. Titled ‘Avan Dhaan Nadigan’ and presented by Abbas and Spotlight Productions along with YGeeM, the highlight of the evening’s show will be S.P. Balasubramaniam singing the hits of Sivaji Ganesan. Y.Gee. Melody Makers offer orchestral support, and the other singers include Kovai Murali, Ananthu, C.A. Raja, Kalpana, Saindhavi and Madhuvanthi Arun.
The three seniors in cinema – Rajasulochana, L.R. Easwari, S.P. Muthuraman -- chosen for the Sivaji Awards of Excellence this year, will be honoured on the occasion.
S. Jagathrakshagan, Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting, and Ramkumar, eldest son of Sivaji Ganesan are the guests of honour.
