This tells the story of a publicist (Stu) who has been cheating on his wife and finds himself hostage in a phone booth. The 2002 psychological thriller is known for its climax and Colin Farrell received many accolades for his performance in the film.

The Taking of Pelham 123

A film adaptation of the 1973 novel by Morton Freedgood, this one deals with the hijacking of a subway train leaving the station of Pelham at 1:23 pm. Starring Denzel Washington and John Travolta in vital roles, it traces the events that unfold when the hijacker demands money as ransom to free hostages and crashes the entire stock market to avenge the company in which he has been charged for fraud.

Die Hard

Bruce Willis will perhaps always be remembered for the Die Hard series and its explosive sequences. The first in the series was shot in 1988 and has continued for more than two decades! While the first film depicts sequences in a single day and perhaps, isn’t as elaborate as the rest, it remains the best of the lot for many.

25th Hour

What would you do if you had just one day before being shipped off to prison for seven years? Well, drug dealer Monty Brogan (played by Edward Norton) has it planned in this film directed by Spike Lee. But things do not go as envisioned, thanks to an unforeseen chain of events…

Fury

This tells the tale of five soldiers in a tank who face the last remnants of the crumbling Nazi empire. Brad Pitt plays Sergeant Wardaddy who has to initiate the newbies into the team. The movie follows this five-man team on a mission from which they might not even return. Watch out for the performances of Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf and Scott Eastwood in this film directed by David Ayer.
