Actor Vishal released the single ‘Otha Kadai Otha Kadai Machaan’ from his upcoming film Pandianadu at the inter-departmental cultural festival of Loyola-ICAM College of Engineering and Technology. A former Loyolite himself, Vishal walked into the college auditorium to a raucous applause from the audience. He was accompanied by co-stars Lakshmi Menon and Vikranth, music composer D. Imman, and the film’s director Suseenthiran.

Dressed in a pair of jeans and a T-shirt, Vishal said he was proud to be a chief guest at his alma mater where he had organised cultural fests as a student. “When I was one of the organising members of the Visual Communication department’s cultural fest, I welcomed actor Suriya who was the chief guest. I am proud that today I am the chief guest,” he said. “I decided to launch the single here because this college has played a significant role in shaping my career.”

Another ex-Loyolite on the dais was Imman whose popularity amongst the college crowd surprised the composer himself. After the prize distribution ceremony, ‘Otha Kadai Otha Kadai Machaan’ blared from the speakers as CDs were unveiled.
