Feather in his cap
Contrary to popular perception, music composer Anu Malik doesn't only appear in reality shows. He even gets felicitated for his contribution to Bollywood music. Last week, the composer of many hit film songs was awarded the prestigious Asha Bhonsle Award, instituted in 1996 by the Akhil Bhartiya Marathi Natya Parishad. Anu is quite understandably, on top of the world. Previous recipients of the award include legends such as Lata Mangeshkar and Khayyam.
Crossing global barriers
Pakistani actress Zara Sheikh will soon be seen in a Hindi film based on honour killings made by a London-based production house starring a motley bunch of Indo-Pak actors. Cook away the blues
Katrina Kaif, we are told, loves eating Indian food and curd rice tops her list. We also hear that she loves to cook and finds it very therapeutic. What's more, the actress loves dancing, painting, watching movies, going to spas and the gym, meeting new people and getting together with friends. It's great that we now know how Kat lets her hair down but can someone explain this sudden revelation? Has it got anything to do with her big break-up with Sallu?
