John Abraham in "Force"

John Abraham in "Force"

No competition

John Abraham is understandably excited about his forthcoming “Force”, his first out-and-out action film. But tom-tomming about it as the best ever is perhaps not the most diplomatic thing to do in Bollywood, where fragile egos shatter easily. The actor was recently heard saying he would like to be known as the last action hero of Bollywood! “Younger heroes are more into romcoms, seniors are more into comedy and other stuff'” said John, adding, “Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn have been doing action but when you see ‘Force' you will know what I am talking about. It is real action, simply amazing. Action director Allan Amin says he has not shot this kind of action in the 27 years of his career.”

The secret's out

And while John would like to talk about his role, his co-star in their next film Rohit Dhawan's “Desi Boyz” would rather be secretive. Chitrangada Singh, in her first ever commercial film, has been almost asked to go underground as the director doesn't want her look in the film revealed. According to reports, Chitrangada has a rather racy role with a sensuous salsa piece thrown in. That's apparently why she doesn't figure in the two teaser posters of the film. And we thought it had something to do with the presence of Deepika Padukone as the other heroine!

Riding on big names

The magical item duo of Farah Khan and Malaika Arora Khan will be back in Sajid Khan's “Housefull 2”! Producer Sajid Nadiadwala says Malaika is family to him and he is delighted to have her in his much-hyped movie that has just about gone on the floors. Think about it. The song has not yet been composed, the steps obviously not and it has not yet reached the dance floors, but the number is already being touted as the best of 2012!
