Kamal Haasan’s Vishwaroopam does not feature actors with a popular image, asked why, the seasoned actor said, “For this film, I believed only on the story and not on the actors. I do not know whether it will be possible for me to finish the shooting on time with actors who have an image. In this film all the actors have lived their roles. Those who have seen the film have appreciated the performances. I am sure the audience too will like, and not just the acting, but also the treatment and presentation. The film stars Kamal Haasan Andrea Jeremiah, Pooja Kumar and Shekhar Kapoor.

Hands full

Anushka who was in the city recently for the promotion of Alex Pandian, said this year Tamil audiences will not get to see her much as she signed only two Tamil films. “One is Alex Pandian, which is already released and the other is Singham 2 (with Suriya) that is in the making. I am doing films in many other languages and they will keep me busy through the year.” Asked about her rapport with other heroines, the charming actor said, “I am comfortable and friendly with all. Where is the question of stepping on each other’s toes? We all have our share of work and know what we want.”

Reigning queen

Shruti Haasan reigning high in the Telugu film industry with her latest film Gabber Singh being a huge hit. Though she started her career as a music director, acting assignments have kept her so busy that she has put music direction on hold. Besides, with a penchant for writing, especially poetry, she soon plans to bring out a book of poems

Work is fun

Vikram who’s back in town after celebrating Christmas and New Year in New Zealand with family, says he was so busy shooting that he could not spend much time with the family. The actor, who is excited about working with ace director Shankar in I, adds that he does not mind combining business and leisure. No doubt about that after all, the actor is known for his hard work.
