Asha Sharreth in Drishyam

Asha Sharreth stole the show playing a police officer in Jeethu Joseph’s suspense drama Drishyam. She is stepping into Kannada with the remake of the movie. She will be reprising the same role in the Kannada version directed by hit maker P. Vasu. “I am so excited because I am working with a big director. It is all the more wonderful because I am cast as Prabhu’s wife. I’ve been a huge fan of him. However, though I have a clear idea of my role, the problem is that I don’t know a single word of Kannada!,” says Asha. She is the only actor from the original who will be part of the Kannada remake. While Ravichandran is cast in Mohanlal’s role, Navya Nair steps into the shoes of Meena.
