The music for Sameer Thahir’s Neelaakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi, one of contemporary Malayalam cinema’s first road movies, was launched on July 28 at IMA Hall. The event was held in association with the biker’s group Bullet Buddhas. Around 100 bikers from across Kerala, some affiliated to the Bullet Buddhas, were part of the event which was marked by a number of activities including the lead actor, Dulquer Salman showing off his biking skills and riding up to the venue. Besides Dulquer, the film stars Sunny Wayne, director Joy Mathews and Surja Bala in major roles. The lyrics are by Vinayak Sasikumar and Engandiyoor Chandrashekharan and the music is by Rex Vijayan. Doore Doore, sung by Suchith Suresan, from the film already has many fans. The band Pathayam performed at the event. Dulquer handed over the first CD to Amal Neerad. The film is scripted by Hashir Mohammed and cinematography is by Gireesh Gangadharan. The film is slated for release next week.
A mysterious traveller, George Koshy Anthraper, lies at the heart of Pakida. The film chronicles the adventures of five happy-go-lucky friends. The cast includes Asif Ali and Biju Menon in significant roles besides Aju Varghese, Vishnu, Sajid Yahiya and Anjo. The film directed by Sunil Karyattukara will see director Renji Panicker in a cameo role as a journalist. The script is by Sreejith N. and Rajesh Rajendran, the cinematographer is Sameer Huq and music is by Bijibal.
