More the merrier

Tamannaah's career graph in Tollywood seems to be heading north. The actor who's already working on three big projects — one each with Ram, Ram Charan Tej and Prabhas — has signed yet another big film, starring Pawan Kalyan.

Discloses a source close to the actor: “It is true. She has just signed a film with Puri Jaganadh of ‘Businessman' fame. It will feature Pawan Kalyan in the lead. Work on the film is scheduled to begin in June.” Apart from this film, sources say, Tamannaah is likely to do director Sajid Khan's Hindi film later this year.

Rumour trouble

Actor Daniel Balaji, whose next film is “Mithivedi”, has a weird problem, thanks to rumour mills working overtime. Rues the actor: “My picture, shot for a movie that was dropped a long time ago, was posted on Facebook. People mistook it for a still from Suriya-starrer ‘Maatraan', and that led to rumours about me being part of the film. In fact, several websites and a couple of magazines too published reports suggesting I was part of the film. I have been getting calls from various people congratulating me for being a part of ‘Maatraan' directed by K.V. Anand. In fact, I even had one person calling me from the sets of ‘Maatraan', asking me about it. I have had to clarify to all of them that I am not a part of the project.” “Mithivedi”, directed by Anand Mayur Srinivas, focusses on the problems posed by uncleared landmines to civilians.

Surprise!

A pleasant surprise awaited actor Prakash Raj on March 26, his birthday. The actor, who reported for work like any other day, was greeted by the unit members of the film “Thulli Vilayadu” in which he plays an important role. Says a source: “Shooting for ‘Thulli Vilayadu' directed by Vincent Selva was on at the ECR stretch when Prakash Raj came to the sets. All those in the unit greeted him and made him cut a specially ordered birthday cake. He was pleasantly surprised as he had not expected those on the sets to be aware of his birthday.”
