Remo D’Souza’s directorial journey doesn’t seem to stop. The choreographer, who turned director with a noticeable youth hit F.A.L.T.U. two years ago, firmed it up with the country’s first 3D dance film Any Body Can Dance (ABCD). He has now been signed for a two-film deal with Disney UTV, which has produced ABCD. We gather that one of these could be the sequel to the dance film.

Quite a handful

Prachi Desai will be seen in the upcoming John Abraham film, I Me Aur Main. You will be excused if you think it’s a John film throughout (given the title!) but it also features three ladies, including Chitrangada Singh. Anyway the news is that Prachi, who plays John’s love interest, had a sweet romantic scene with him which showed two pairs of hands gliding over a piano. Apparently she took piano lessons for the same because the director wanted the scene to flow well. It couldn’t get better for the girl as she always wanted to learn playing the piano. So everyone was smiling there, but our question is did John also follow suit?

Mooch matters

Can a moustache be the deciding factor in catapulting a film in the Rs.100 crore club? The buzz is that the ‘mooch’ can indeed replace any other lucky mascot! Let’s recap: Salman Khan’s Dabanng and the sequel, Ajay Devgn’s Singham, Aamir Khan’s Talaash, Akshay Kumar’s Rowdy Rathore – all the heroes had a defined upper lip and all raked in the moolah. The latest one to knock on the fuzzy style is Akshay again in this week’s release Special 26. Trust director Neeraj Pandey to rely on more than that to make his film work!
