John Abraham is giving it his all. The actor wants to showcase his action and his forthcoming films Race 2 and Shootout At Wadala are giving him that opportunity. There is reportedly a cage-fight scene in Race 2, which John shot for himself. The hand-to-hand combat scene had him doing 500-plus air kicks, and fighters and trainers from Vietnam and Africa were flown down for him. John has confessed it wouldn’t have been as difficult as it got had he not been on an only-liquids diet.
Ayushmann Khurrana, whose first film Vicky Donor did rather well and who is now reportedly getting several offers, may be showing signs of growing too big for his boots. The actor is completing Rohan Sippy’s Nautanki Saala, a film where he features along with Abhishek Bachchan. Post that, he was to do a film to be produced by Kunal Kohli. We hear that Ayushmann had asked for the filmmaker to have an A-listed actor cast opposite him, but Kunal was considering Ileana D’Cruz or Diana Penty. This does not seem to have gone down well with the actor. Kunal tweeted, “Ayushman’s reasons were demeaning to other actresses. Sad a newcomer thinks likes that. Real stars/actors don’t. Anyway, moving on…”
Get in shape
Meanwhile Vidya Balan, whether she is getting married or not in December, will have to get in shape definitely. Sujoy Ghosh has announced the sequel to Kahaani and he has instructed Vidya to shed the kilos and get in shape for her character. The director has revealed that the sequel will have a lot more action that Vidya will have to execute and hence the need to be in shape.
