Dancer-turned-director Prabhu Deva has a suggestion for those looking to lose weight.

“Losing weight is simple. Dance when you have the time and you will automatically lose weight,” says the man who many refer to as the Michael Jackson of India.

But what about those who don't know to dance?

“Ah, everybody can dance. It is just that they don't do it. Dance in whatever manner you wish to. Try it out even if it's just a little step,” says the dancer, who believes in practising what he preaches.

“Dancing has helped me lose weight. I used to weigh 76 kg. But now, I weigh just 69 kg after dancing regularly. It feels great to be fit. I feel a lot younger and I wish all my fans too feel that way,” he says.

Arya's take on Nandha

Actor Arya, who has been maintaining a low profile for a while now, was back on Wednesday to doing what he does best — making people laugh. At the audio launch of the film “Azhagan Azhagi” held at the Sathyam Cinemas, the actor, while sharing his thoughts about the director of the film, Ra. Nandha Periyasamy, said, “I don't know how many of you have heard Nandha narrate a script.

He can make you feel as if you are watching a film. I first worked with him on ‘Oru Kallooriyin Kadhai.' While narrating the story, he would laugh one minute for a funny sequence and break down the next for a sad sequence. In fact, he would even try to produce the background score he intends to have in a sequence.”

Arya continued, “The only other person who can narrate a script as passionately as Nanda is director Lingusamy. I didn't know during the making of ‘Vettai' that the two knew each other but could make out that both had something in common. When I asked Lingusamy if he knew Nanda, he replied, ‘Oh, We were roommates and would often spend time narrating our scripts to each other.'”

Billa II shot at the Likani Palace

Well, there's more news on “Billa II,” Ajith's next film. According to a release from the film's publicist, the unit seems to have accomplished yet another feat that no other Indian film crew has managed so far.

The unit has re-shot portions of the film at the prestigious Likani Palace in Georgia — the summer retreat of the President of Georgia. The release also stated that the unit had to shoot the sequences in sub-zero temperature, making it quite a challenge.
