The last date for registration as a delegate for the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2010 is November 16.
An official spokesman of the Goa Entertainment Society (ESG), the government's entertainment body co-hosting IFFI, said on Wednesday that over 2,500 applications had already been received for the forthcoming 41st IFFI 2010, Goa.
The IFFI will be held here between November 23 and December 2.
In a new initiative, the ESG has simplified the procedure of registration for IFFI 2010. Those who were registered as a delegate during IFFI 2009 need not register afresh.
The ESG has sent an e-mail with identification and pin numbers.
Using this, the delegates can view their data and resubmit the same application by updating data such as phone numbers and addresses in the same mail and submit it online.
The approval is automatic. The initiative is supported by the National Informatics Centre (NIC) and jointly organised along with the ESG.
Fresh applicants can also register through the official ESG website www.iffigoa.org.
