Salman Khan

Salman Khan

While the nation is preoccupied with deciphering the body language and gaining ‘insight’ into the biggest hug of them all, Shah Rukh Khan has literally turned “the page” and Salman is wondering how life might be in jail again. That hasn’t deterred producer-director Mahesh Bhatt from proclaiming that the A-listed, hopefully ex-foes have created a “positive environment” in the country!

Anurag Kashyap and Amitabh Bachchan

The differences between the two of them were so strong and so many that we’d overshoot the word limit if we retrace. Hence using word association: Black . Chittagong . Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se . Facebook . Ode to Bachchan in Bombay Talkies . Now the two are working together for a social issues-based television show.

Shah Rukh Khan and Shirish Kunder

Ra.One caused damages. One of them landed straight on Shirish Kunder’s cheek. Farah Khan’s husband has always been known for his tongue-in-cheek tweets, but the one about a certain ‘Rs. 150-crore firework fizzle’ cost him dear. King Khan was in no mood to forgive when his best friend’s hubby took potshots at his labour of love at a party and managed to punch him. Farah and Shah Rukh broke up after that. But last year some aliens were spotted outside SRK’s Mannat promoting Shirish’s film Joker. Then came news of Farah and Shah Rukh doing Happy New Year together. How sweet!

Farah Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali

One fateful Friday split Farah Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Their movies — Om Shanti Om and Saawariya —released on the same day and the two were throwing missiles at each other at every forum. But the patch-up was done years later reportedly at an awards’ ceremony where not only did they kiss and make up, but Farah even agreed to play the heroine in Sanjay’s sister’s film Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi . Phew!

Anurag Kashyap and Karan Johar

Don’t we just love Anurag! He is known to speak his mind. And then realise his ‘folly’. Many moons ago, the two directors were engaged in a verbal volley with Anurag openly criticising Karan’s rose-tinted films and Karan retorting with something to the effect of Anurag requiring a psychiatrist. Ahem. Now the two of them have not just collaborated for Bombay Talkies , with Anurag praising Karan’s film to the skies but Karan has agreed to play the antagonist in his film Bombay Velvet .

Sunny Deol and Yash Raj Films

This has got to be the longest-standing feud that melted down this year. About two decades ago, Sunny Deol had vowed never to work with Yash Raj Films again post- Darr in which he felt then newcomer Shah Rukh’s role was given prominence over his. Reportedly, he wasn’t in attendance even at Yash Chopra’s funeral or condolence meetings last year. But the equation changed when the Deols and Yash Raj’s music arm came together for the music rights of the Deols’ film Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 . We hear that Aditya Chopra was open to patching up with Sunny and there is even unconfirmed talk about Sunny’s son being launched by Yash Raj. Now that’s a turnaround.
