In this wonderful film made by Nalin in 2001, the essence of Buddhism is the central focus of the film. Capturing the beauty of Ladakh and the life of monks Nalin gives us a wonderful cinematic experience. The protagonist’s life is similar to that of prince Siddhartha especially the scene where he leaves home to find enlightenment.
After being treated to the incredible story of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart through the eyes of his secret rival Antonio Salieri, it is evident that music is Mozart. The innocence and intelligence of Mozart makes the film a visual treat that should not be missed by anybody who loves cinema and music. Twenty-five years later the movie still remains a classic.
